I was born in a small town called Hawthorne located in Florida. I attended a small high school in that small town. After graduating from high school I attended and graduated from the University of Florida (Gator Nation) with a degree in Physical Education. After teaching and coaching for several years, I enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. Shortly, after enlisting, I met and married L.D. McCollough.
During my tour in the Marine Corps, I answered to even a bigger calling. I was ordained as Minister of the Gospel and subsequently appointed as a Bishop and currently serve on the Board of Bishops under the leadership of Bishop Johnnie M. Johnson. The headquarters is located in Oceanside California. After serving 25 1/2 years of faithful and honorable service in the Marine Corps, I retired as a Marine Sergeant Major. I then returned to florida, the education industry and still actively working in ministry. I am known to be an activist and have a passion for community relations.
